Description

Practical strategies to think clearly, stay energised and perform at your best.

Working in a fast-paced media environment can place constant demands on attention, energy and decision-making. This practical workshop explores how stress, recovery, movement, focus and everyday habits influence performance at work.

Participants will learn simple, evidence-informed strategies to manage pressure more effectively, protect their energy, improve concentration and reduce the risk of chronic overload. The session is designed to be practical, engaging and immediately useful, with ideas that can be applied both during the working day and outside it.

The workshop will cover:
• how pressure affects thinking, behaviour and performance
• practical ways to protect focus and reduce cognitive overload
• the role of movement, breaks and recovery in maintaining energy
• recognising the difference between productive pressure and chronic stress
• creating personal habits that support sustainable performance

Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to perform well without relying on constant effort, along with practical actions they can use straight away.
